Blandford-Blenheim Township

There was I residential and2 business break and enters reported in Blandford-BlenheimTownship during the month of November 2006.

02Nov06 A padlock was cut on a door leading to a barn at a residence on OxfordRd. 4. Nothing appeared to be missing from the building.

15Nov06 A door was pried to gain entry to a business on Oxford Rd. 8. Cash, apurse and identification valued at $2000.00 were stolen.

26Nov06 The Princeton Hall was entered and several areas inside the hall wereransacked. The only property that appeared to be missing is a telephone.

East Zorra-Tavistock Township

There were no break and enters reported in East Zona-Tavistock Township during themonth ofNovember2006.

Norrvich Township

There were no break and enters reported in Norwich Township during the month ofNovember 2006.

Woodstock

There were 2I residential and 4 business break and enters reported during the month ofNovember 2006.

A door was forced to gain entry to a residence on Light St. A 42" TV,cash, X-Box game, computer and CD player valued at $2630.00 werestolen. Some of the stolen property was recovered and Shawn Gee, DOB:27Dec82,101 Tennyson St., was charged with possession of stolenproperty.

A door was forced to gain entry to a residence on Hatch St. A laptopcomputer, DVD player, Sony camcorder, Pentax 35 mm camera,2Toronto Maple Leaf collector watches and a small amount of cash werestolen. The value of the stolen property was estimated at $4100.00.

Entry was gained to a residence on Springbank Ave. N. via an insecuredoor. A purse was stolen and2 teenage males were seen fleeing from theresidence.

Entry was gained to a residence on Canfield Cr. Via an insecure door.Jewellery, a wallet and I.D., 2DVD players, a speaker and stereo receivervaiued at $2500.00 were stolen.

A basement window was smashed to gain entry to a residence on HughsonSt- Jewellery, coins, a Sony Playstation 2 and2 games valued at $2500.00were stolen. Some of the property has been recovered and theinvestigation is continuing.

A door was forced to gain entry to a residence on Rathbourne Ave. A 20"TV, speakers and medication valued at $1500.00 were stolen. AdamHalashewSki, DOB: 13Apr88, 800 Dundas St., Upper, Matthew Edwards,DOB: 21Jun85, 50 Earlscourt Cr. And Christina Morrison, DOB: 3lJul75,784#12 Hughson St., were arested and charged with break enter & theftand possession of stolen property.

A basement window was smashed to gain entry to a residence on St.Albans Cr. Matthew Edwards, DOB: 21Jun85, 50 Earlscourt Cr. AndChristina Morrison, DOB: 31Ju175,784#12 Hughson St., were arrestedand charged with possession of stolen properfy.

A door was pried to gain entry to a residence on Drew St. An amplifier,CD player, Bell Expressview receiver and a VCR valued at $1550.00 werestolen.

Glass was smashed in a door at Eastdale School. Eight other windowswere also smashed at the school. Entry was gained, however, nothingappeared to be missing. Damage was estimated at $2400.00.

A window was smashed to gain entry to a residence on Dover St. A purse,identification, a Nintendo game, clothing and a Sony Playstation2, valuedat $500.00 were stolen.

The remaining incidents involved occurrences where entry was gained and nothing wastaken or attempts were made and no entry was gained. Several others involved break andenters where very small amounts of property were stolen.

Impaired Drivers

A total of five persons were arrested for impaired driving during the month of November,2406.

08Nov06 Daniel Weiler, DOB: 03Sep69, 221 Queen St. S., Kitchener, Ont., wasarrested for impaired driving on James St., Woodstock.

l8Nov06 Andrew Abbey, DOB: 07Apr88, Oxford Centre Rd., Norwich Twp., wasarrested for impaired driving as the result of a single vehicle motor vehiclecollision on Peel St.. Woodstock.

18Nov06 Ian Prubant, DOB: 08Apr84, 2 Sydenham St., Woodstock, was arrestedfor impaired driving on Dundas St., Woodstock.

23Nov06 Larry Long, DOB: 13Feb43, 1000 Huron St., Apt. 101, London, wasarrested for impaired driving on Dundas St., Woodstock.

23Nov06 Tyrone Antonissen, DOB: l5Nov79, 541 Ontario St., Woodstock, wasarrested for impaired driving on Pittock Park Rd. in East Zorca-TavistockTwp.

During the month of November 2006, the Oxford Community Police Service issued 314charges under the Provincial Offences Act, which includes offences under the HighwayTraffic Act, Liquor Licence Act, other Provincial Statutes, parking by-laws and theTrespass to Property Act.

Of those 3I4 charyes, 173 charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act for speedingoffences. Those vehicles were radar timed, stopped and the drivers were issued oflencenotices for speeding. Some of those charges were through directed traffrc enforcement asthe result of citizens' concerns in East Zora-Tavistock T*p., Blandford-Blenheim Twp.,Norwich Twp. and the City of Woodstock.

The following is the breakdown of the radar charges:

A motorist was radar timed at 134 km/h in an 80 km./h zone on Oxford Rd'13 inNorwich Twp.

No R.LD.E. prograrns were conducted in the month of November, however, several arescheduled for the month of December.
