2. These regulationsshall come into operation on the day fixed for the coming intooperationof theFamily Court AmendmentAct 1987.Interpretation

3. In theseregulations,unlessthecontraryintentionappears-"court of summaryjurisdiction" meansa court of summaryjurisdiction referred to in

section75 of theAct;"Court" meansthe Family Court of WesternAustralia createdby the Family Court Act

1975 anda court of summaryjurisdiction.Metropolitan region

4. For the purposesof the Act the metropolitan region is that part of the State thatcomprisedthemetropolitanregionon 5 January1976 undertheTown Planningand DevelopmentAct 1928,

5. 1 The CentralRegistryof theFamily Court shall beatPerth.2 Theremay besuch registriesof the Court outsidethe metropolitanregion as are from

Accounting10. 1 A ledgershall bemaintainedat the CentralRegistry andby theclerk of every court

of sum’naryjurisdiction.2 Where moneysare paid to an officer of a Court pursuantto an order or registered

agreementmadeby it or registeredin it, the officer shall disbursethosemoneysto thepersonnamedin theorderor registeredagreementasbeing entitledto receivepaymentin accordancewith the termsof the orderor registeredagreementor to theattorneyof that person.

CostswheretheCourt hasno jurisdiction10. Where a matter is brought in the Court or in a court of summaryjurisdiction over

7. The lesseeshall,within 12 monthsfrom commencementofthelease,fencetheexternalboundariesto thesatisfactionof theMinister.

8. The lesseeshall maintain existingand future improvements to thesatisfactionof theMinister.

9. All frontagesshall be treatedandmaintainedto give anappearanceaestheticallypleasingconsistentwith the purposeof theleaseaccordingto a plansubmittedto theMinister.

10. The lesseeshall indemnify the Minister againstallclaims for damageto property or personsarising from theuseof theland.

11. The Minister or his representativemay enterthelandfor inspectionatanyreasonablytime.

12. The land shall be filled to levels specifiedby, andacceptableto the Minister or his nominee and the ShireCouncil.

13. Compensationwill not bepayablefor damageby flooding of thedemisedland.

14. Compensationshall not be payableto the lessee inrespectof any improvementseffectedby him on thedemisedland and remainingthereonat theexpiration or earlier determinationof the lease.

15. It shall be lawful for the lesseeat any time within thethreecalendarmonthsimmediately following theexpirationof the term or earlier determinationof the lease,to takedown, removeand carry away anybuildings,structures,improvementsandplantthepropertyof thelessee.

16. On determinationof the lease,the lesseeshall fill in,consolidateandlevel off any unevenness,excavationor holecausedby him during thetermof theleaseor by removalofhis improvementsand shall leave the demisedland in aclean, neat and tidy condition to the satisfaction of theMinister and shall remove any or all waste matter asrequiredby theMinister.

All applications lodged on or before that date will betreatedas having been receivedon the closing date, and ifthereare more applicationsthanone for any lot, the applicationto begrantedwill bedecidedby theLandBoard.

THE Departmentof Computing and Information Technology hasissueda Requestfor Proposalsfor the development and operationof a telecommunicationsinfrastructureandcommonnetwork for theWA public sector.

The proposal which forms a part of the WesternAustralian Government’s Strategic TelecommunicationsPlan seeksthe co-ordination and provision of operationalmanagement,carrier servicesandnetwork equipmenton awhole-of-governmentbasis. A key elementis the development of a common network infrastructureservingGovernment agenciesthroughout the State and linking the PerthCentralBusinessDistrict to regionalcentres.
