This single torch external welding system offersconsistent welding parameter and quality control, andprovides the user 32 programmable welding passes. In addition, this welding machine offers VerticalTracking to maintain consistent Tip-to-Work distancearound the circumference of a weld.
The P-260 is a self-contained platform incorporating atravel carriage, wire feed motor and wire spool, computer control box, and adjustable welding head.Suitable for GMAW or Pulsed-GMAW processes, thisversatile design easily interfaces with most constant-voltage or pulsed-curent welding power sources,
including the new inverters. The P-260 has the abilityto perform external root pass welding in addition tostandard hot, fill, and cap pass welding.
The onboard computer ensures precise control ofwelding parameters: volts, amps, travel speed, oscillation, dwell times, etc. A secure data keyprevents unauthorized weld parameter variables frombeing changed. The removable data key also allowsthe user to store a real-time log of all essential welddata for further processing in a user-friendly Excelspreadsheet format.
