Polyurethane mono and
bi-component solvent based ink with
semi-glossy finish for screen and pad
printing. UR 2500 has been studied
for direct printing on Nylon and
Polyester for sportswear, umbrellas
and sails or for transfer printing,
thanks to the features which
distinguish it; for example the good
washing solidity and the great
flexibility.
By adding HRDENER NR. 2 to UR
2500 its general solidities and its
adhesion can increase.
SUBSTRATES
The series is suitable for printing on
Nylon, several kind of polyester and
TNT (see the substrates chart and the

PAD PRINTING
Pad printing is an indirect printing process, which allows to
reproduce, in a simple way and with high precision and
definition, drawings, writings and decorations on flat,
concave, convex or otherwise irregular surfaces.
By means of a soft and flexible buffer (generally in silicon) a
film of ink is transferred from a pad printing cliché (etched
plate of steel or photopolymer) on the support. Thanks to
the soft printing pad buffer, which easily adapts itself to the
different shapes on which it is pressed, the printing surface
may also be irregular. Pad printing allows you to obtain a
higher definition compared to the screen printing, allowing a
clear reproduction even of the finest lines, even with more
colours. In fact you can get great prints in four-color
process on any substrate.
Pad printing is used for printing on otherwise impossible
products in many industries including medical, automotive,
promotional, apparel and electronic objects, as well as
appliances, sports equipment and toys.
