Dear friends, It’s time to give 2019 a wrap and integrate all the learning, reminisce, celebrate, (re-)evaluate and start thinking about the kinds of changes we want to set in motion for 2020. The best tool anybody could ever use for a year review is… you guessed it: The Tarot! The reason is, of course, that the Tarot speaks in symbols - the language that the soul uses to communicate with the Universe/universal consciousness and vice versa. Our Higher Selves may have a different take on some of the events of the past year. The ego (little/separate self) is likely to look at some of these events in a ‘poor me’ or ‘Why me?’ kind of way but the Higher Self always asks ‘What was I meant to learn from this?’ Once we are brave enough to ask this question (and any other questions that serve the Highest Good of All), the Tarot never fails to provide the most succinct and accurate answers. Of course, it is up to you and I to make sense of the answer the Tarot provides. The process of making sense of a reading is facilitated by carefully documenting both the question and the answer, allowing our subconscious mind to catch up when it is ready. Sometimes, clarity will come through a dream but sometimes, if we are lucky, we are able to instantly make sense of the answer. The latter usually being a good sign of less ego resistance - in particular where the answer helps us get out of our own way so that more of God’s Light can begin to shine through. For the 2019 Tarot Review, we are using the Majors to measure our progress. The Major Arcana archetypes illustrate our spiritual journey on Earth. There will be a dialogue between you and each Arcanum that I pray will be beneficial to your soul’s progress. But first we begin by looking at the past year from a numerological point of view. I recommend printing these pages out before you begin!
