Broadcast or Narrowcast

P2M handles collections of documents (called channels) for

pro-active distribution to employees. The documents can be

located in the P2M Engine's repository, behind your firewall,

or on the internet on standard web servers. Combining

documents from multiple sources into a channel is as easy

as cut/paste and drag/drop. Creating a corporate brand with

custom icons and channel headers/banners for your

documents and channels is just as easy.

Getting feedback from users is also catered for using industry

standard HTML forms support for document or video training

feedback. Or create forms for general purpose data collection

and the data is staged into standard SQL tables for reporting

or interfacing with other systems.

From the same web console administrators can deliver

documents to all users or just target a group (subset) in a few

clicks. You control who receives what!

The Push to Mobile Platform is the engine behind a lot

of popular applications used to always get the right

information in the hands of your target audience:

P2M Application Server

Windows Server 2008 R2 Web Edition or later.

Microsoft.Net Framework v4.0 or above (Note v3.5

is also required for the console).

IIS7 (SSL certificate preferred but optional).

P2M SQL Server

Windows Server 2008 R2 Web Edition or later

with SQL Server 2005 or later.

Or access to a pre-existing SQL Server instance.

Android 4.0.0 or above, BlackBerry 10.2.1 or above,

iOS 7 or above.

For additional security, only references to documents stored

in your P2M repository, are pushed across the mobile vendors'

push frameworks. Retrieval of corporate document content

then occurs securely via the smartphone app, using your pre-

existing VPN (or your mobile device's MDM connection to

your corporate network). Of course if you want to include

documents and multimedia that are already in the public

domain, that's fine. The app can retrieve internet

content too and you can even mix and match document

sources within a single channel.

P2M is deployed on industry standard servers (Microsoft IIS

and Microsoft SQL Server) and handles all the complexity of

pushing documents/audio/video files to iOS, Android, and

BlackBerry devices for offline viewing with one,

easy to use, admin console.
