Process Memo- Project 3 Process memo

For project three, I really enjoyed the freedom that it allowed me. With the project being

a multimedia project, I was really able to look through all the different forms of media that are

really at our finger tips. After a lot of time and energy I ultimately decided to create a flyer/

Facebook combo that would be extremely efficient in reaching my audience and making my

point. Once I finished my project, I started on the process memo. I really gave my process memo

my all. Since most of this project was in media form, all of my ideas and thoughts needed to be

represented in a creative way. I could not just say upfront what I wanted on my flyer or my

Facebook page. I had to make it appealing to the readers and followers so that they would be

successful. Thus the process memo really allowed me to explain what I wanted from my project

and what each detail was trying to do because my project had a lot of underlying reasons why I

did it certain ways. So I was able to write a four page process memo that explained exactly what

I was aiming for with this project.

Once Joe handed it back with his revisions, I saw that he understood where I was coming

from. He saw my thought process on everything that I wanted to do and how I was going to do it.

After the end there were really only two things that I needed to change with my process memo.

First off I needed to explain why I chose Facebook for my project. In my original process memo

I explained what the Facebook page was going to look like and how I was going to make it but I

never specified why I chose Facebook. So I talked about how I wanted Facebook because of its

user interface and how it is very simple to create a page and have that page link to other people’s

Facebook’s. Secondly he wanted to make sure all of my links and my QR code worked on my

flyer. After looking it over I re did the QR code and tested it out and it brought me to the

Facebook page, all you need to do is sign in with your Facebook account. Finally I took my flyer

and made it into a PDF file. This was because word is used differently on different computers so

the picture might be warped when opened so I made it into a PDF in order for it to be one solid

picture and un-changeable. Overall, I did not need to put too many drastic changes to my process

memo for paper three.
