Understanding Content knowledge
Applying knowledge (relate to unfamiliar situations)
Linking up facts using concept Maps
Improving Process Skills in answering Qs
Parental Support
• Encourage them to construct concept map for revision of topics.
• Show them science phenomena that occur in everyday activities
E.g. Why water droplets are formed on the chilled drink can after it is
taken out from the fridge?
• Encourage them to observe their environment and ask questions.
If you don’t have the answer for the question, acknowledge your
child’s effort in asking questions and guide him/her as he/she look for
an answer.
• Encourage them to read Science magazines and watch
educational documentaries.
• Do not throw away P3 – P6 Science TBs, WBs and files, all books
and files are needed for PSLE revision.
