What are Raw Scores?
• Raw Scores tell us how a child does for each paper, but not how well he/she does, compared to others.

English 80 75Mathematics 80 85
Raw Scores vs Averages(Example)
• Ali’s English marks is higher than most students.• Ali’s Mathematics marks is lower than most students.• Hence, Ali did better in English than in Mathematics, when
compared to others.
Where everyone matters
• The raw score for each subject is converted to a transformed score (T-Score) using a formula.
• The T-score reflects the students’ standing relative to other students on a common scale.
• It takes into consideration the content and demand of the subject.
What are T-Scores?
Where everyone matters
• The Aggregate Score is the sum of the T-Scores for all subjects.
• Each subject carries equal weighting.
• Incorporates the performance of students in all 4 subjects.
• Allows students to be ranked fairly.
