And a very special Thank You to Cheryl Groves, who spent hours on the piano rehearsing with students days before, mak- ing sure everyone was prepared and then playing the piano for all the performances the night of the presentation. We are so very Thankful to you Grandma Groves for all the time you put into our school!

Volunteer of the Month!

Our volunteer of the month goes to Karen Botelho. Karen is our wonderful Hot Lunch coordina-

tor. Thank you Karen for heading our Hot Lunch program and for all the many many other

things you do for our school. We would also like to thank all of our other incredible volunteers!

The time you put into our school is very appreciated!

CATHOLIC SCHOOL’S WEEK is almost here! Catholic schools week is a week to celebrate, Our Children & Our Faith. This year our School theme

is Live the Joy of the Gospel. Many exciting events are being planned throughout the week of Feb 1st. We will start our celebrations with a School Mass on Sunday Feb 1st at 10am. Stu-dents are asked to attend and participate with their class. Please wear your uniforms to show your school spirit! Mass will be followed by the Knights of Columbus breakfast/lunch. Come join us all week during our celebrations! Stay tuned for more information with details of the week’s events.

Tuesday, January 13th is our next Parent Support

Group meeting. We would love to see you there!

The Mens Christmas Basket has yet to be claimed from

the Christmas Presentation. The winning number is

048364. Please check your ticket.

Check out the aprons Grade 8 made in sewing class! Thank you to Saman-tha Anderson for helping the class out with this project!

A great big THANK YOU to all of you who brought in toys for us to donate to the Kitimat Food Ham-per. Because of your generous donations over 100 less fortunate children in our community received a special gift this year.

Fun in the Snow!! Remember it’s cold outside. Please make sure your little ones are dressed warmly so they can enjoy all this won-derful snow :)

On Tuesday, January 13th please have your chil-dren dressed in Red and White to show their Canadian Spirit for guest speaker Katie Weather-ston. Katie is a two time Olympic medalist for Team Canada in Hockey and a National Champion in Soccer. She will be doing a motivational presentation at our school on Tuesday to discuss what it takes to be a champion.
