I can’t believe it!! Another week of camp is over, and it was EPIC! Monday was Jewish

Names Day—My Jewish name is “Sara”, my twin “Siri”; her Jewish name is Shoshana

Rusya. Monday we had swimming, art, sports, Q-tip war, Chalk Tracing, Name Bingo,

Limbo, choice… Did you know we can fit SOOOOOOO much in one day? That’s the power

of Gan Izzy!!

Tuesday was Jewish Birthdays Day! Every bunk got

their own cake and sprinkles and frosting and

edible pearls… and we got to decorate our own

birthday cakes. They tasted soooo good. I MUST

ask the HC’s for the recipes! I’ll put a note in my

“pages” app. Did I ever tell you about “Choice”? So

one group is using foam boards and building life

size boats. When I say life sized, I really mean life sized. Boats that will actually float.

Another group is “food art” where the campers make salads, desserts, skewers and all

these things out of food. The edible creations look gorgeous! The last group is sewing.

The campers got to make beach mats with pillow covers; they literally sewed it and made

the masterpieces on their own.

Wednesday we went to Lake George, and had lunch in the

park, a scavenger hunt, and had a ball! The weather was

GORGEOUS!! The older bunks went on the OVERNIGHT!!!

S’mores, a BBQ, bonfire, songs, cheers, and a great

bonding experience! Even the mosquitos wouldn’t leave

us alone; they wanted to be a part of the action.

Thursday the campers had a chance to go to Speedway

and the park, they played gaga, did salt painting, played

hug-a-bear…

I can’t believe it’s already the end of the week. Have a great fourth of July weekend and
