But that does not mean that we always have to voice our opinions! While the shepherds in the Gospel today were making a lot of noise, Mary quietly reflected about the meaning of Jesus’ birth in her heart. Begin the New Year with some quiet reflection and prayer. we believe that “God so loved the world, that He sentHis Son” to be one with us, so that we might be savedand be one again with Him. This means that Jesus must be both human and divine without division. Mary,then, is the mother of Jesus who is God and Man.
