The arrival of Africanized Honey Bees in the U.S. has heightened con- cerns about the potential health-re- lated dangers of the insects.

A number of bee stings have oc- curred this past year, with all of the specimens being identified as Euro- pean Bees.

This program should be of benefit to emergency management personnel, sheriffs department, city police de- partments, hospital personnel, county commissioners, beekeepers and other interested persons.

If you plan to attend this meeting, please call the County Extension of- fice at 979-732-2082, so that an ample amount of handouts will be prepared.
