Yesterday in Singapore, Sunny Hale led her Orange Fizz team to victory in the Shanghai Tang Women’s International Polo Tournament with a 6-5 win over Absolut, led by team captain Mumy Bellande. Playing with Sunny, the leading scorer with 5 goals, were Kristy Hawkins, Isabelle Larenaudie and Julie Harris/Melissa Ko splitting chukkers. With Mumy for Absolut were Lucy Taylor, Lynly Fong and Yvonne Twiss. Third place was won by Las Bonitas 3-2 over White Magic. Las Bonitas had Lia Salvo, Angela York, Charlotte Marson/Claudia Zeisberger splitting chukkers and Barbara Mason. White Magic was Lesley-Ann Masterton, Sherri-Lyn Hensman, Melissa Tiernan and Ann Wilkinson. The tournament was part of the WCT Qualifiers for the finals next April 2012 in Wellington.
