Greetings from our new County
Youth Coordinator
Lexy Davies
The Page County Extension Council is proud to
announce that Lexy Davies has joined our staff as
the new County Youth Coordinator. Many of you
know Lexy from her work with 4-H and in the com-
munity. Over the next few months, Lexy will be
reaching out to leaders and superintendents and
introducing herself. If you see Lexy, congratulate
her and welcome her to her new position.
A letter from Lexy
Hi Everyone! I’m excited to share with you my love
of 4-H. I was a 10 year member of the U.S. Sunbeams
4-H club in Guthrie County. I showed livestock, stat-
ic projects and participated in communications
events. I also was part of the County Council and
participated in three state exchange trips, and the
Washington Focus trip.
I moved to Clarinda in 1990 after getting my
teaching degree from the University of Northern
Iowa. I taught at the Clarinda Schools as a Behavior
Disorders teacher at Garfield Elementary. I met my
husband Kris in 1990. We were married in 1992.
We have 5 children, Kristopher, Kalob, Kambrea,
Karissa and Kandalyn.
Since moving to Page County, I have been a
4-H mom for 20+ years, an assistant leader for 10
years ,and the leader of the Nebraska Top Notch-
er’s 4-H club the past 5 years. I am also a home
school Supervisor, a children’s church leader and a
volunteer at Goldenrod Nursing Home
I am excited for the opportunity to serve as
the Page County Youth Coordinator. I will be
involved working with the 4-H program, STEM
programs, SWITCH programs, First Lego League,
and many other events working with the youth of
Page County.
I look forward to meeting you and serving
you as the County Youth Coordinator. Feel free to
call or stop by the office and introduce yourself.
