On February 24, 2020 the Station'sMeteorologists participated in the UIWSTEM Job Fair in San Antonio, Texas.Potential applicants were told about thestation, job opportunities currentlyavailable , and the applicationprocedures.

Meteorologist led a station tour forstudents from the Aue Elementary. Gavestudents theopportunity to see how news andproduced inside a station. Students gotto see a live production. Answeredquestions aboutthe education necessary to be ameteorologist and what otheropportunities exist in the broadcastindustry.

Anchor participated in Career Day atRogers Academy SAISD on March 2,2020. She discussed whatit's like to be a journalist and work in thebroadcast industry. She discussed hereducation and development track. Sheanswered questions presented bystudents.

Anchor and Reporter participated inCareer Day at SmithElementary School. They sharedinformation with students on how shedecided on a career in media and whather education track was to prepare herfor her career. They answered questionson what it is like to be a reporter andanchor.

Talent coaches with Reel Media Groupwork one-on-one with selected talent toimprove on air performance andstorytelling. We put three peoplethrough the training every three months,it consists on work review and coaching.All progress is monitored by NewsDirector through phone calls and emailfeedback, as well as employeeevaluation of their trainers.Approximately 25 employees have beenthrough this ongoing training.
