    APPLICATION

SURFACE: Clean thoroughly, free o f loos e a nd unso und ma teria l, remove a ny ce ment slurry by me ans of hydraulic w a ter-blasting o r simila r till ca rrying ca pa city of gra in s tructure is rea ched . S ufficient ad hesion must be granted (i. m. 218 PS I). P rior to g routing, the surfac e mus t be we tted co ntinuously for approx. 6 hours until saturated .

FORMWORK: Must b e of rigid co nstruction, with sa nd or dry mortar being plac ed a round the c oncrete ba se ca refully toprevent lea kage .

MIXING: The grout is read y for use, o nly wa ter is to be a dd ed in qua ntities printed o n ba ck of ba g. Mea sure out thecorrect q uantity of wa ter and a dd two thirds of this into a c oncrete mixer, a dd the dry mortar and mix for abo ut3 minutes. Then a dd in the remaining w ate r and mix for another 2 minutes. G routing then should ta ke plac eimmediately.

GROUTING: P la ce the mixed grout from o ne s ide or corner only in one co ntinuous pour. When grouting large a rea s wesuggest to pour starting from the middle using a pipe or funnel. On machine installations fill the anchor boltpockets first (up to a pproximate ly top o f anc hor bolt pockets) and then the underside of the ma chine. S et time:approx. 60 min.

    CAUTION: Open areas must be protected against wind, draft and premature evaporation by using for example plastic foilor O 1 P A G E L -C U R I N G A G E N T .

Grouting shoulders:Heights and shoulders around base plates must not exceed 2 inches or 50 mm.

Temperature:Applica tion be twe en 41 F and 95F (5 -35 C), low temp erature w orking c onditions reta rd the s trength d eve-lopment a nd reduce the flow a bility while high temperatures a cc elera te the s a me.

Non-Iron-Metals:Cement as well as all cement-based building materials may under certain circumstances cause a coming-offof non-iron-metals in the application area (for example aluminum, copper, zinc). Please ask for our technicalservice.
