MISSION STATEMENTThe mission of Midland Fair Havens is to equip single mothers and their children for self-sufficient

living by addressing their educational, vocational, spiritual and emotional needs in residential and non-residential settings.

Fair Havens was blessed by the generosity of ministry partners asour children and moms started back to school this fall. Midland

Rotary Club, Uptown Midland BPW,Legacy Real Estate, Main StreetChurch of Christ and First BaptistChurch “Dress ‘Em & Bless ‘Em”

provided much needed school supplies and clothing for our families.We are so very thankful for each of these treasured supporters!

Our Midland Fair Havens children lives wereenriched through opportunities of Vacation

Bible Schools with First Baptist Church, TrueLite Fellowship and Grace Lutheran this summer.

Some were also blessed to attend the FBC Super Summer Singers Camp.This fall, many are learning new skills at ‘Art & Soul’. We are sothankful to all of those individuals who make these enrichmentexperiences possible for our children.

THANK YOU to our precious volunteers who aremaking an amazing difference in the lives of our

Fair Havens families by modeling Christian characterthrough helping with after school tutoring for ourchildren and their mothers, serving as mentors tomoms, and loving our children in King’s Kids Club!

Fan Fair 2011 helped us increase fans on our Facebookpage 844%, from 75 to 745 fans!

Congratulations to one of our extraordinary graduates who received her RNcertification from Midland College this year! After 2 years of diligently

participating in our Life Skills program, growing spiritually, and learning tobecome self sufficient, she now is living an independent life that is a fabuloustestimony of God’s love and grace!

Our families can always use: cookware sets, kitchen utensils, bake-ware, twin size sheet sets, bedspreads, blankets, mattress protectors, pillows, pillow cases, bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and kitchen towels.*New Items Please!* For current information on specific items needed, please call 689-3411.
