Initial tests have shown it will also pick up burnt tips on pins. The instant a defec- tive part passes by AutoSpect a signal is sent that can give an alarm, stop the line, or start the accumulator, allowing the opera- tor time to remove the defective parts or take whatever other ac- tion is needed.
