The luncheon was fun and the warm tea was great on the bitter cold day. I want to thank Lin- da Shonsey for installing the officers that were there. Our year is planned and we are looking forward to a lot of fun painting time. We hope you will plan to participate in the dif- ferent programs and enjoy the company of the other painters. I know I have made many good friends thru painting over the years and have many memories of really fun times. We are just a great bunch of ladies. You will not be receiving as many Newsletters as in the past. There will be a newsletter or a meeting reminder/calendar every month. The months of February, April, June, Sep- tember and November you will receive a newsletter and the rest of the year you will get a meeting reminder/calendar and any new information that the membership would need to know. We hope you will use the website more as there is always all the information on it. My hope for the year is that we will share our love of painting and also any other things that we get enjoyment and creativity out of. Always feel free to bring what you have done lately to the meetings and share with the rest of the membership as this will maybe give a member an idea or a teacher we would like to have for a seminar. Painting is my main interest but I like doing lots of other crafts too. I also want us to think about the Memory Boxes, they mean so much to the people that receive them. I hope that every month we have several to take to the hospital as they are always in need of them. I think this is one of the nicest things we can do for someone else and know that maybe we made their loss just a little bit easier. I want to thank all the Board Members for their time and planning that has gone into our new year and hope that the membership will enjoy what we planned. If there are any comments or concerns please feel free to contact me. I look forward to meeting and get- ting to know each of you better. Lets have fun painting, see you at the February meeting. Ruth
