1. Generator annual maintenance plan will automatically renew each year at the prevailing rate and will be billed monthly unless otherwise requested. Palmer Gas & Oil will provide this service at prevailing rates.

2. Palmer Gas & Oil shall be released from any/all liability for failure or delay to provide, within a reasonable period, maintenance called for under the plan when failure or delay results from strike or other labor disturbance; fire, flood, lightning or other acts of God; supply shortage of electricity, gas, or water; freezing or breaking of pipes; government regulations; extreme weather conditions; unavailability of parts; or improper operation, negligence or misuse of covered equipment.

3. All generator service calls will be performed during regular business hours. If such repair service is requested, it will be billed at prevailing rates.

4. Palmer Gas & Oil will endeavor to render prompt and efficient service, but it is expressly agreed that Palmer Gas & Oil shall in no event be liable for damage or loss caused by delay or any loss arising out of the performance of this plan.

5. The obligation to furnish replacement parts is subject to availability through normal supply sources.

6. Customer must also make the unit and transfer switch accessible to be worked on during normal business hours.

7. Maintenance is subject to blackout dates based upon availability.

8. This agreement is for preventative maintenance only. Any additional repairs recommended by our technicians will be brought to the attention of the owner. No repairs will be made unless proper authorization is given.

9. It is advised, in accordance with generator owner’s manual, that generator be kept clear of snow/ice/debris at all times.

10. It is suggested that the owner refers to the generators manual to determine how often the oil should be checked by owner or Palmer Gas & Oil.

11. For an additional onetime fee, a propane tank monitor is included. The tank monitor allows us to gauge your fuel usage due to sporadic use. There will be no monthly monitoring fees, and this includes an app for your mobile devices, so you may monitor your fuel usage.

Please Note: If generator runs for more than the suggested time by the owner’s manual during a one-year time frame, Palmer Gas & Oil can visit the home for an additional visit, at an additional cost to check equipment and change oil.

GENERATOR MAINTENANCE PLANServices include:

• Change and dispose of engine oil/filter

• Change and dispose of air filter

• Replace spark plug(s) or check gap per manufacturer instructions

• Clean & tighten battery terminals

• Check/tighten control and power wiring connections

• Check/adjust valve(s) as recommended by manufacturer’s instructions

• Check for evidence of vibration, leakage

• Check crankcase breather hose

• Check/clean air ducts/louvers

• Visually inspect insulation, fire hazards

• Inspect engine and battery heaters for proper operation (if applicable)

• Inspect mounting bolts, brackets and coupling connections

• Inspect fuel line and connections for leaks

• Check for trouble or fault codes

• Check operation of transfer switch (if transfer switch requires repair, this service is performed at additional cost)

• Check and record AC output voltage & frequency

• Check if generator requires firmware update and update as necessary
