Final Concept Design for Palazzolo Park

Council is planning to upgrade the playspace at Palazzolo Park on Willow Grove, Coburg this year.

The fi nal concept plan has now been completed. Proposed junior play equipment is now: a pendulum swing offering spinning and swinging (in place of the nest swing), a multi-user boat rocker with textured rubber ‘splash’ pad and a small inground trampoline. Painted timber and tyres with bluestone steppers will provide a fun balancing circuit for young children. The fencing will be replaced with pool-type fencing with two pull-up gates for entry.The works will include additional trees - large deciduous canopy trees and smaller evergreen trees offering colourful blossoms. Furniture will be provided under these shade trees.

The proposal aims to improve this small space, which is a restricted by underground service easements through the reserve.The red dashed lines on the plan indicate the offset buffers required for the underground services.
