They had a great me exploring the interacve and hands on exhibions about the human body, fossils, wildlife and a really fun out door water experiment area. Muhammed S-for some super work on money in Maths! Hussain A– for a vast improvement in his atude and work. Shanam– for improvements with mes tables. Ibrahim– For producing fantasc talk homework. Najeehah– for a brilliant chapter to add to the lost or stolen story. Nadia– for creang an excellent firework picture. All of Class 8for creang beauful talk homework. Dominik– for an improvement in his atude to learning. Sahl-for an excellent effort during morning intervenons. Arifa– excellent atude in all lessons. Ridwaanul– excellent improvements in narrave wring. Muhammad S– for excellent effort in intervenon acvies. The trip was phenomenal! My favourite part was the interacve theatre all about what was under our skin and the digesve system. Famah I though Zoolab was amazing! We got to hold a cockroach and feel a giant snail, a snake and a cute hamster. We learnt all about the different rainforests and where different ani- mals live. We also learnt how chocolate is made from coco beans that grow in the rainforests. Rayyan Well done to all the children who led our special Remembrance Day Assembly on Monday. It was very moving and thought provoking. Lest We Forget

Expected attendance is 96 % 5th-9th Nov 2018

The Class with the best attendance was

Class 4 with 100% Overall our attendance was

96.4%

The attendance for each Class: Class 1 –92% Class 2 –96% Class 3 –97%

Class 4 –100% Class 5 –96% Class 6– 97% Class 7 - 97% Class 8 - 93% Class 9 - 97% Class 10 - 92% Class 11 - 97% Class 12 –97%

All children should be on time for

school. The gates open at 8:30 and

school starts at 8:40am

Any child whose attendance falls

below 90% is considered an

persistent absentee, they will be

referred to our Education Welfare

Officer (EWO) for close monitoring.

All children have to participate in weekly PE lessons– Please make sure you child has the correct PE kit ( plain white t-shirt and plain black legging or jogging bottoms and black pumps) If

your child has not got it in school please make sure they bring it on Monday and leave it in school so they always have

access to their kit for PE and spare clothes should they need it . Thank you

Monday 19th November marks the beginning of Anti-bullying week @PJS. The children will be watching a

special assembly called ‘The Power of One’ we would like to invite parents to join us

for this performance . Y3 & 4—1:30-2:15pm Y5 & 6—2:20-3:00pm

Now the cold winter weather is drawing in please make sure your child has a suitable

warm winter coat . Please also ensure they are wearing correct

school uniform including SOCKS.

We understand children like to be more Independent at Junior school, but as

parents/carers it is your responsibility to check they have the correct CLEAN

clothes on for school and have had a wash and brushed teeth properly.
