Celebration of the Eucharist

We suggest that you contact us before your child is born! Call or email the Parish Center.
Baptisms are scheduled monthly on the first Sunday at 1:00 pm. In the spring and summer
we also celebrate baptisms on the third Sunday.

REHEARSALS for HOLY THURSDAY and GOOD FRIDAY
Rehearsal for all those who are assisting with the Holy Thursday liturgy will meet on TUESDAY, April 11th at 7pm. Good Friday rehearsal will follow, approximately 8pm.

during the Sacred Triduum
During the Triduum it is not permitted to celebrate Mass. Our focus is on the three liturgies of the Mass
of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Thursday at 8pm), Service of the Lord’s Passion (Good Friday, 3pm) and the Easter Vigil (Holy Saturday night, 8 pm). We will gather for Morning Prayer at 9:00 a.m. on the three mornings of the Triduum, (Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 13, 14 and 15). Morning Prayer is part of the Liturgy of the Hours, also called the Divine Office (and found in the “breviary”). The psalms are prayed antiphonally (each side of the church alternating), and includes Scripture, intercessions, Our Father and a blessing. Morning Prayer on Holy Saturday will also include the blessing of

Holy Thursday, (April 13)
9:00 a.m. Morning Prayer
8:00 p.m. Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 8:00 p.m. The very heart of our
parish family is the Eucharist, and all are invited to be part of this lit-
urgy. Twelve members of our parish have been selected to be part of the
“Mandatum,” the Washing of the Feet.
Good Friday (April 14)
9:00 a.m. Morning Prayer
3:00 p.m. Service of the Lord’s Passion is the ancient liturgy with St.
John’s Passion, Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion.
7:30 p.m. Stations of the Cross
Holy Saturday (April 15)
9:00 a.m. Morning Prayer (includes blessing of food)
11:00—12 Noon Confessions)
8:00 p.m. Solemn Easter Vigil is the highpoint of the Church Year. We
welcome the Light of Christ into our darkened church, listen to the vigil
of readings, and renew our Baptism Promises in the light of the Paschal
Candle. Bring your family to this powerful experience of our faith!
