SPRING 2016THE LOREM IPSUMS
Kappa Alpha Theta
In recent months, this Theta chapter has been working
to create a relationship with a local branch of their
national philanthropy. In May, Nu chapter hosted a
new philanthropy event raising $2,500 for CASA! The
student body and the surrounding community were
brought together for this superhero themed 5K to help
raise awareness for children in need.
Chi Omega
Chi Omegas new members worked together to put
on their classs first philanthropy event this month.
Students ducked and dodged their way through the
championship, helping these freshmen prove their
love of philanthropy! All of the proceeds from the
dodge ball tournament went to their National
philanthropy, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Phi Mu
This May term, Rho chapter dominated Sigma
Chis Derby Days, winning the weeklong
philanthropy event and helping raise money for the
Huntsman Cancer Foundation! Phi Mu also hosted
a car wash this spring at Chandler Chevrolet on
Clifty Drive. All of the proceeds went to Childrens
Miracle Network Hospitals.
Alpha Delta PiPhi chapter was chalk full of some busy bees this spring
term! Not only did they plan a centennial celebration,
these Deltas hosted a grab-a-date cookout! Each girl
provided their social chair with three potential dates
only to be surprised with who their special VIP was.
Once there, they all enjoyed some food on the grill and
refreshments. Nothing can slow down these ladies!
