PRODUCT INFORMATION:

COMPOSITION AND MANUFACTURE:

Panorama Demi and Supra are made from "zero slump" concrete under highfrequency vibration; Panorama has an average compressive strength of 8000psiand an average absorption of 5% or less and will meet or exceed ASTM C 936,excepting the Supra units that have a face area > 101 sq. in.

Note: Vehicular paver pavements may require civil engineering. All final pavement designs shall beapproved by a licensed design professional familiar with local site conditions and building codes.

INSTALLATION:

1. Excavate the proposed project area to a depth that allows for the thicknessof pavers, sand bed, and base aggregate.

2. Install base using 3/4 inch minus dense graded aggregate, typically a minimum4 inches to 8 inches thick (102mm - 203mm). Slope the pavement surface fordrainage as per Site Engineer/Architect/Landscape Architect or a minimum 2%grade for positive drainage.

3. Install edge restraint on perimeter of the paver pavement as per manufacturersinstructions.

4. Install a sand bed by screeding a 1 inch thick layer of coarse washed concretesand conforming to the grading requirements of ASTM C 33. Screed to the gradeand profile required.

5. Set paving stones on the sand bed, taking care to not disturb the sand bed.

6. Where required, cut pavers to fit accurately, neatly, and without damaged edges.

7. Compact using vibrating plate compactor. Protect the paver surface fromdamage by attaching a neoprene mat to the steel plate of the compactor or use arubber roller attachment. An alternative method of protecting the paver surface isto place sheets of plywood on the pavers prior to compaction.

8. Post compaction, sweep dry ASTM C 33 or ASTM C 144 sand over thepavement to fill paver joints. Sand stabilization may be required. Remove excesssand from the paver surface.

9. Compact a second time.

10. Sweep additional sand into paver joints, filling the joints to 1/8 inch belowthe paver beveled edge.

11. Sweep paver surface clean for final acceptance by owner/owner’s agent.
