Crane’s Lettra paper is our favourite paper stock here at Papillon Press because it was designed specifically for letterpress printing. Lettra is made of 100% cotton, soft and luxurious to the touch, yet strong and stable on press. Lettra is made without surface sizing to maximize its supple-ness and its receptiveness to a deep impression.

Bamboo joins papers made from cotton, hemp, kozo, mulberry, among others in our effort to offer custom-ers a wide selection of tree-free alternatives. Bamboo is a highly renewable resource and is the fastest growing plant on Earth. In some cases Bamboo can grow three to four feet per day — without the need for fertilizers, pesticides or much water.

Legion Bamboo has a luxurious finish and is available in a 265gsm cover along with a full line of matching envelopes.

Sirio “UltraBlack” is the most unique and the most intense shade of “Black” satin-smooth text and cover paper ever produced by a paper mill. Because of its intense coloration it makes the perfect sheet for artwork that needs a rich, deep and dense black.
