Requirement
Contact with heavy rolls or fast-moving webs
carries a high risk of serious or fatal injuries.
Older machines were built to safety
standards far lower than today’s, and some
have been modified without adequate
guarding.
Full service
Machine surveys, risk assessments,
standards-compliant design, manufacture
and installation. We also update safety
related control systems and connect new
guard switches, light curtains and other
safety devices.
Construction
316 grade stainless steel or mild steel with a
galvanised or polyester powder coated finish.
Infills are wire mesh, sheet steel or clear
polycarbonate.
Experience and expertise
Over 60 years’ experience manufacturing
bespoke machine guards for paper mills
throughout Europe and beyond. Previous
customers include DS Smith, Arjowiggins,
Kimberly-Clark, SAICA, SCA, Mondi,
International Paper and Smurfit Kappa.
