Intro to Art Mrs. Boyd April 6, 2020 Sidewalk Chalk Art This week we will take our creativity outside! With the weather warming up, some fresh air and sunshine is the perfect combination to have fun with this activity. Your canvas will be a sidewalk or driveway. Your work must be your work. Be creative and add your own flair to something that catches your eye or come up with something completely unique all together! Requirements: -Fill one driveway section or 2-3 sidewalk sections with color and design -You must photograph your work with you OR your name included in the picture. -Email me your photo, I can’t wait to see what awesome ideas you come up with! -You can create: -Inspirational quote (we can all use some positivity!) -Stained glass/ geometric/ abstract (This is achieved by using masking tape to divide areas. Make sure to stick it down well before coloring, once coloring is completed it can be peeled off) -Creative “street art” (Utilize what you have around you and add some creativity to it!)

Supplies:-2-3 sections of sidewalk or 1 section of driveway cement -sidewalk chalk (regular chalk works too) OR Homemade chalk paint….Super easy to make!
