Papua Conflict and Apathy

In a less then a month, the bloody conflict occurs again in Papuan. The first conflict is related to the strike of PT Freeport employees in Timika which causes two people dead and others get gunshot wound. The second conflict takes place in Papua People Congress III in Jayapura which also takes victim.

The bloody conflict in Papua is not a new thing. Considering there was a number of conflict in Biak, Abepura, Wasior, Wamena and the murder case of Theys Hiyo Eluay on November 2001.
