En pleno corazón de la zona vinícola de San Juan del Río, en Ezequiel Mon-tes, Querétaro, se encuentran las Cavas FREIXENET. Quérataro es un exponente del vino mexicano, dicha ubicación fue escogida por ser un lugar con caracter-ísticas geoclimáticas óptimas para el cul-tivo de la vid. Al estar a unos 2,000 metros sobre el nivel del mar provoca una madu-ración de las uvas en unas condiciones extremas y peculiares (25° C en el día y 0° C por la noche).

Cavas Freixenet México
In the heart of the wine country of San Juan del Rio in Ezequiel Montes, Querétaro, is located the Cavas Freix-enet. Querétaro is an exponent of Mexican wine, that location was chosen for being a place with geo-climatic characteristics optimal for growing grapes. Being at about 2,000 meters above sea level causes a maturation of the grapes in extreme and unusual conditions (25 ° C during the day and 0 ° C at night).

Bajo el método tradicional “Champenoise”, pero con materia prima y mano de obra mexicana, se produce el vino espumoso que forma parte de la marca líder de producción de la empresa, y que co- rresponde al 80% de la produc-ción total, mientras el 20% restante son vinos de mesa, blancos, tintos, rosados, y vinos varietales.

Los solsticios y equinoccios han sido fenómenos que han permitido a diversas culturas conocer la duración del año y predecir los ciclos estaciones, vitales para la vida diaria de toda civilización.
El solsticio de verano (22 de junio) es el día más largo del año (en el hemisferio norte). Al mediodía el sol alcanza el punto más alto del cielo durante el año. La insolación es máxima.
El solsticio de invierno (21 de diciembre) es el día más corto del año (en el hemisferio norte). Al mediodía el sol alcanza el punto más bajo del cielo du-rante el año. La insolación es mínima.
En los solsticios el sol cae ver-ticalmente sobre el trópico de Cáncer (solsticio de verano en el hemisferio norte) o sobre el trópico de Capricornio (solsti-cio de invierno en el hemisferio norte).

Todas las fechas son sólo aproxi-madas. En las dos posiciones de solsticio, la declinación del sol se mantiene durante varios días casi sin moverse; de ahí el nombre de solsticio, que significa en latín Sol quieto.
El Equinoccio es la época en que, por hallarse el Sol sobre el Ec-uador, los días son iguales a las noches en toda la Tierra, lo cual sucede anualmente del 20 al 21 de marzo equinoccio de primav-era y del 22 al 23 de septiembre equinoccio de otoño.

College of Fashion). Actual-mente Pedro superó el reto y ha logrado establecer su propio estudio fotográfico, desde el 2006, enfocán-dose principalmente en la vanguardista fotografía de moda, logrando así un reconocimiento por parte de la industria de la moda
y de la industria publicita-ria. Entre sus principales cli-
entes se encuentran: Terán, Nextel, El Palacio de Hierro,
Warner Music México, Peninsula Fashion, Epouse, Editorial Tele-visa, Revista Swishy, entre otros.

Pedro Luján Vales estudió la carre-ra de Comunicación en la Univer-sidad Iberoamericana, y al mismo tiempo comenzó a formarse como fotógrafo profesional al estudiar en varias instituciones como el CAF (Centro de Arte Fotográfico), el Centro Cultural El Nigromante Bellas Artes y en la AAVI (Aca-demia de Artes Visuales), donde además participó en varias exposiciones colectivas.
Al término de dicho perí-odo, Pedro decidió con-solidar sus estudios de fotografía profesional en la Ciudad de Nueva York, estudiando en es-cuelas de gran recono-cimiento mundial en la industria de la fotografía y la moda, tales como: FIT (Fashion Institute of Tech-nology), NYU (New York University) y el ICP (Interna-tional Center of Photography).
Al regresar a la Ciudad de México, Pedro asistió a reconocidos fotó-grafos como Ricardo Trabulsi, Mauricio Alejo y Gonzalo Morales. A finales del 2008 Pedro Tuvo la oportunidad de vivir en europa durante mas de un año donde tra-bajo para importantes compañias

Pedro Lujan Vales studied Communica-tions at the Universidad Iberoamericana, and also began to form as a professional photographer studying at various institu-tions such as CAF (Center for Photograph-ic Art), the Cultural Center Fine Arts and The Necromancer on AAVI ( Academy of Visual Arts), where he also par-ticipated in several exhibitions.
At the end of this period, Pe-dro decided to consolidate his professional photogra-phy studies in New York City, studying at schools with worldwide recogni-tion in the photography and fashion industry, such as FIT (Fashion Institute of Technol-ogy), NYU (New York University) and the ICP (International Center of Photography).
Upon returning to Mexico City, Pedro attended to fa-mous photographers as Ricar-do Trabulsi, Mauricio Alejo and Gonzalo Morales. In late 2008 Pedro had the opportunity to live in Europe for over a year where worked for major companies as the prestigious Danish clothing brand Bertoni Copenhagen
and the major modeling agency Scoop Models Copenhagen. At the same time he dedicated to do personal projects and to refine his photographic style. During that same year, Pedro traveled to the city of London to take several
courses of fashion and photography at a famous University: London
College of Fashion. Currently Pedro overcame the challenge
and has had success in establishing his own photo studio, since 2006, focus-ing mainly on cutting-edge fashion photography, and achieving recognition by the fashion industry and advertising industry too. Among its main clients are: Teran, Nextel, El Palacio de Hierro, War-ner Music Mexico, Pen-insula Epouse Fashion, Editorial Televisa, Swishy Magazine, among others.

Si el mar pudiera hablar, diría que Akumal en la Riviera Maya es un lugar es-pecial.
Akumal es un pequeño desarrollo con una bahía extraordinaria y una playa espectacular.
En 1741, un galeón Español encalló en una punta rocosa cerca de la bahía.
Nada está demasiado construido y todo hace armonía con la naturaleza. Los pocos residentes cuidan la ecología. Existen villas fabulosas, proyectos con-dominales pequeños, 3 tiendas de buceo, unas cuantas tiendas turísticas, 2 supermercados pequeños, 7 deliciosos restaurantes, y un centro ecológico ofreciendo proyectos continuos para proteger la bahía, el arrecife, las tortu-gas marinas, el agua, el reciclaje de basura y el medio ambiente en general.
Akumal tiene 50 años de historia desde que fue fundado por Pablo Bush Romero en 1959. Hace medio siglo no había nada en la costa. Cancún y Playa Del Carmen no existían. La carretera #307 tampoco. La única forma para lle-gar a Akumal era por barco de la isla de Cozumel.
Como fue descubierto Akumal? Porque llego Pablo Bush a esta bahía? Quien es este hombre visionario quien influencio el desarrollo de esta costa? Que tesoro dejaron los piratas de este galeón Español bajo las aguas del Caribe?

If the sea could talk, it would say that Akumal on the Riviera Maya is a special place.Akumal is a small and unique resort sitting on an extraordinary bay with a spectacular beach.In 1741, a Spanish Galleon wrecked on a jagged point near this bay.Nothing is overbuilt and everything blends with nature. The few residents are very ecologi-cally oriented. There are fabulous private villas, small condominium projects, 3 dive shops, a few boutiques, 2 small super markets, 7 delicious restaurants, and an ecological center with ongoing projects to protect the bay, the reef, the turtles, the water, trash recycling, and the environment.Akumal has 50 years of history since it was founded by Pablo Bush Romero in 1959. Half a century ago there was nothing on this coast. Cancun and Playa del Carmen did not exist yet. Nor did the 307 Highway. The only way to get to Akumal was by boat from Cozumel. So how was it discovered? Why did Pablo Bush arrive there? Who was this visionary man who influenced the development up and down the coast? What treasure did the pirates of this Spanish Galleon leave beneath the sea?

“Riviera Maya tv Online”, la primera central de tv online del sudeste mexicano en asociación con In Acqua Images Productions , están produciendo el primer web-documen-tal a cerca de las tortugas marinas. La primer locación para comenzar el rodaje fue en Akumal, donde personal del CEA (Centro Ecológico Akumal) nos mostraron en que consiste su tarea.

El documental mostrará la tarea de profesionales y voluntarios que día a día luchan para preservar a esta especie en peligro de extin-ción, atacada por depredadores naturales, junto al saqueo de sus ni-dos, su fácil captura con redes comerciales, la baja sobrevivencia de las recién nacidas y la desaparición de playas de desove, hacen que hoy en día todas estén en peligro de extinción. De las ocho espe-cies de tortugas marinas que existen, cuatro de ellas desovan en las costas de Quintana Roo, estas son, Blanca, Carey, Caguama y Laud.
Estos antiguos reptiles adaptados al agua, existen desde hace mas de 200 millones de años y sobrevivieron a todos los cambios del planeta.

The documentary shows the work of professionals and volunteers who daily struggle to preserve this endangered species, attacked by natural predators, with the looting of their nests, easy commercial netting, low survival of newborn and loss of nesting beaches. Today all this put them all endangered. Of the eight species of sea turtles that exist, four of them nest on the coasts of Quintana Roo, these are: White, Carey,
Loggerhead and Laud. These ancient reptiles adapted to water, have been around for over 200 million years
and survived all the changes on the planet.
