Whether you stayed in Manila or travelled further aeld, we hope you had a great me with your family. Below are the essenal announcements for the coming week in Middle school.  Student Leadership Retreat:  If your child is a ending the Student Ambassador Leadership Retreat this aernoon and evening, please remember that dismissal for students not aending the Service Learn- ing Trips will be take place at the ES garage drop o/pick up lane. If you wish to come on campus and collect your child, students will be located in the ES Pla za area.  Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Tesng:  In previous bullens, we had shared that parents will receive their child’s MAP Student Progress Report today. Unfortunately, some students had to nish their tests o this week and this delayed the closing of the school’s tesng window. We are explor ing whether we can se nd the reports in an electronic format so that we can save paper. We hope to send the SPRs out on Friday, November 20th. Yearbook Photographs:  Our ocial school photographer, Tino Ley, will be on campus next week to tak e student photos for the ISM Yearbook and individual photo packages. The individual photo pack- ages will be delivere d to students in January aer the three week vacaon. The Year- book photo shoot will take place in Room 1123 - this is the classroom behind the AMR. Students will have their photos taken during their Moder n Language, EAP or SI instruconal blocks. Please be sure to make sure uniforms are clean each day and that you send a comb or a hairbrush so students look their best in the photos!  Season 2 tryouts for MS/HS teams have concluded and teams

have now been seled and ready to get into full training. Well

done to all players who have made our teams for season 2. The

pracce schedule which runs unl the end of January is posted on

noce boards around school and on the ATAC blog schedules

page. Season 2 sports are Basketball/Rugby/Touch/Tennis and HS

varsity swimming. 

RIFA MS soccer fesval nals: Please note* The C1 team of Coach

Eric will play their fesval nal on  Sun Nov 15th at 8am at Brish

School. This is the newly scheduled date due to the typhoon can-cellaon that occurred on Oct 18th. Two training sessions have

been arranged forNov 7 and 14 for the team to pracce ready for

the nals on Sunday the 15th. 

Upcoming Events: 

Nov 6-7 Start of S2 local league matches for most teams. 

Nov 7 ISM Sailsh Aquathon and ISM Wall Climbing compe-

on 

Nov 13 Friday Night Lights (Basketball/Rugby/Touch vs Faith) 

Nov 20-22 Pre- IASAS Rugby exchange at ISM (need to house

72 players) Housing forms available from ATAC blog- Please

Please note the pracce mes for ATAC programs for SY 15-16

are as follows: ATAC all year round teams- 3:15-4:30. See sched-

ule for our All year round teams  program here… 

All HS seasonal teams pracce from 3:05- 4:50pm each day. MS

seasonal teams pracce 3:15-4:45pm. In order to clear the cam-

pus prior to 5pm all aer school programs will conclude

by 4:50pm or earlier. The last bus is4:55pm  this is due to the

ever increasing trac concerns in our area.  

Parents and students please take some me to peruse the ATAC

blog it has a wide variety of informaon and links to our sports

and acvies program. If you have any quesons regarding the

compeve program of sports at ISM aer reading the infor-

maon on the blog please send an email

to [email protected] and I will endeavor to assist you as best I

can.

The ATAC game schedule pdf which is updated regularly by Triz

Gonzalez (ATAC Athlecs Coordinator) gives the most up to date

informaon on where/when and who our Bearcat teams will be

playing throughout the school year. Access to the game schedule

is now via the ISM parent portal not via power school as in the

past. A navigaon guide is available here.  ATAC Game Schedule

Users Guide. Access the parent portal via this  link, log in with

your user name/password and then look for the ATAC Game

Schedule tab under the le side quick links.  Don't forget to re-

fresh the pdf page each me it opens so you access the most

current schedule. Please note this schedule does change oen

and at short noce due to involvement with many local schools

and organizaons. Check it regularly for the most up to date in-formaon. For security purposes....access to the ATAC  game

schedule pdf must be linked via the secure parent po.rtal and

details should not be shared with non ISM community members.

PCA Book Fair and Book Character Spirit Day: Next week the PCA will be hosng their annual book fair in

the foyer of the FAT. MS students will be allowed to go to

the book fair and purchase books during snack and lunch

me as well aer school. In order to celebrate the book fair

and generate some MS spirit, all MS students are allowed to

come to school dressed as a book character on Friday, No-

vember 13th. Every student who parcipates will receive ahouse point for their team and there will be a prize for the

best costume at each grade level. We hope you will encour-

age your child to parcipate! 

No Aer School Acvies November 17 - 20th: 

There will be no Aer School Acvies (AFAC) from Tuesday,

November 17th - Friday, November 20th due to the APEC

conference in Manila. Please make the necessary arrange-

ments so your child is collected from school at 3:00 p.m. by

car or that they catch the bus at 3:20 p.m. 

Rock of Ages: 

The Rock of Ages concert is a scholarship fundraising event

that takes place on Friday, November 13th in the Lile Thea-

ter from 18:00 - 22:00. Tickets cost 1,500 pesos are available

at the Alumni Oce, aer paying at the cashier. If you are inthe mood for some wonderful music, come along and sup-

port this great cause.
