• We are now in a ‘Zero sum’ environment• 3 levels of progress is an average….less able

students tend to make less progress• Boundaries have been raised• No retakes impacts on middle ability• Coursework change impacts on weaker students• No comparisons to previous years• Ebacc will make more difficult for less able
