Registering…

❏ Using Chrome or Firefox go to www.schoology.com

❏ Click Sign up at the top of the page & choose Parent

❏ Enter your 12-digit Parent Access Code

❏ Fill out the form with your information and check the

“By clicking Register...” box and then click Register

❏ Additional children? If you already have an account

and need to add children, log into your account, click

on your name in the top right corner and “Add Child”

❏ Group Codes (“Class of _____) are available from

your child’s teacher

Joining Groups…

❏ Click on “Groups” at the top of the page

❏ On the right side click on “My Groups”

❏On the right side under “Manage Groups”

click “Join Group”

❏ Type in your Access Code & click “Join”

Getting Back On...

Email Login

1. Go to app.schoology.com

2. Click Log In on the top

right.

3. Enter your Email Address

and Password.

4. Click Log in.

Schoology Homepage: Your Parent account compared to your child's

Schoology information

Having a Parent account in Schoology is actually like having

two accounts:

1. Your Personal Account, with your own name and information;

2. Your Child Activity view. From here, you can view Schoology

from your child’s perspective, and see what he or she sees,

and receive updates about his or her activity.

Start by clicking on the arrow in the upper-right corner, next to your

name, and then select your child’s name to switch into his or her

account. The check mark in this drop-down menu indicates which

account you are currently viewing.

Why Go To Settings?

● Change your password

● Set Your Default Account

● Customize how your Name is displayed on Schoology

● Establish your Primary and Secondary Email address for notifications

● Adjust your Timezone

● Access your Schoology Calendar from a different calendar tool (e.g.

Outlook, Google, Calendar, etc.)

● Link to other Schoology accounts (this option allows you to toggle

between multiple accounts at different schools)

● Merge different Schoology Accounts (this option allows you to merge

a duplicate account into a single account)

What We Ask Of Parents…❏ Encourage your children be responsible for their

learning through Schoology - you have done your

time in school and now it is their time

❏ Remind your children to “phone a friend” or email

their teachers with questions

❏ Establish a routine with them in charging their

devices beside their backpack which is packed

and ready to go for the next day - they need to

organize/pack their bags

❏ Understand this is your child’s journey & not

yours
