PARENT/TEACHER INTERVIEWS - Tuesday 4 August 2020 Due to COVID-19 and the requirement to maintain social distancing, the parent-teacher interviews being held on Tuesday 4 August 2020 will take place via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. Most processes surrounding length of meeting and booking procedures will remain unchanged. Each interview will be scheduled to run for 10 minutes and how parents’ book an interview time will remain the same. Once all bookings have been made and the booking schedule has been closed, parents will be emailed a link for each interview. The platform used (Blackboard Collaborate Ultra) was used extensively by Merrimac SHS students during the online phase of learning early in Term 2. Parents who are unsure of how to utilise the emailed link to access their interview are encouraged to ask their student for assistance. Access to make bookings will be open for parents from 4.00pm on Friday 26 June 2020 through to 9.00am on Monday 20 July 2020. You will still be able to view your bookings on the day/evening of 4 August 2020. Please note that if a teacher is not on the selection list, this means they are not available on the night. We encourage you to make appointments with as many of your child’s teachers as you wish, not just the ones who have requested an interview with you. We are confident this online booking system will make booking interviews fast, convenient and simple. *Remember...On-line interview scheduling closes to parents at 9.00am on Monday 20 July 2020 but you can still view your bookings on Tuesday 4 August 2020.*

Register by entering your email address and click next

Enter your Name and contact number and click next

Enter your child’s name and choose year level (remember to update the year level if you have used

this program in previous years) and click next

If you have more than one child click on Add child and repeat this process

Click on Book Interviews

Click the boxes for the teachers you wish to have interviews with, or have requested interviews with you on your child’s report.

Choose from available time slots and click Save. Green timeslots indicate the teacher is available.

If you require a longer interview, the teacher is unavailable or a different time, then contact the teacher

using the button at the bottom of the column. Appointments cannot be continuous – the system sets 10

minute breaks between each interview.

You are given the option to email or print your schedule of appointments. It is important to choose one

of these options so that you have a record of your interview schedule.

If you need to change an interview click on Adjust interviews. This function will not be accessible after

9.00am Monday 20 July 2020. If you need to adjust interview times after this date, you will need to

contact Administration Office staff at Merrimac SHS during school hours on 5595 8666.
