The Technical Ministry Org!
(What we do)
Preparations start at 2:00pm, since servicebegins at 4:00pm.
Songs sung, Bible passages read, videos, and
the like are prepared. Two softwares are primarily used, Keynote and
ProPresenter.
A 15 minute countdown is given before the
start of the service. The flow of the service is first, praise and
worship, where we click from slide to slide, syncing the lyrics with the band.

The Technical Ministry Org!
(What we do)
After, we flash the Transitional
Verses/Passages (usually for reflection or
tithes and offerring).
If there are any announcements from thechurch, we flash it on the screen as well.
Usually, after this, we flash the pastor's
keynote/ppt and we go along with him as hepreaches, clicking slides. Once the preaching
is done we play music as the people exit the
room/sanctuary.

Interviewing Mr. Lee...
1) Why did you join this ministry/organization?
I joined this ministry because first of all I enjoy
serving God. Also, maybe because I like to play
with computers and do some experiments withnew programs; and in this ministry I am able to do
exactly just that. I am allowed to try different
things with programs so that the visual aid
presentation during services may be improved.

Interviewing Mr. Lee...
2) How does this org help you become a betterChristian?
It teaches me to be humble because the technical
ministry is usually the least noticed ministrybecause you dont usually see them. They arelocated at the back so that they can see thewhole flow of the program. On the contrary, thetechnical ministry has a major role in the success
of the entire program. They need to check that allequipments are working, that all visual aidnecessary is already input to the computer andready to be shown.

Interviewing Mr. Lee...
3) How do you think does Victory address the
need of your ministry?
The usual problem for my ministry is the lack of
volunteers, but the church address this by having aservice wherein the topic is about volunteering and at
the end there is a sign up of which ministry you would
want to join.

Beatitude?
A beatitude that can describe our intervieweewould be "Blessed are the poor in spirit, fortheirs is the kingdom of heaven." He can be
described as this since, according to hisanswer to one question, that being behind thescenes (and controlling the smooth flow of theprogram/service through visual aids) as a"tech guy" may not be the most recognizable, but one of the most important. Although theyare not noticed, they still continue to serveGod whole-heartedly.

Our time with our org..
Being with our organizationwas an enlighteningexperience for us. We wereable to experience together the
many different difficulties andresponsibilities theorganization has in the church.Having the responsibility tomake sure the service goes
smoothly was challenging andexciting at the same time. Wewere able to accomplish all thetasks stated awhile ago, withour orgmates.

Elijah Ricamatas Reflection..
Even if I was part of this ministry for a year
already, I was actually more excited to be
a part of it and do more. The interview
also made me think that despite beingunnoticed often, we have an important role
to ensure the smooth flow of the
service/program. I think that God put me in
this ministry to teach me to become
humble as our interviewee mentioned.

Elijah Ricamatas Reflection..
Even if I was a member of
this org for a year, the
encounter and interview
made me have a differentperspective on being a tech
guy. Instead of thinking of it
as a boring job, only clicking
stuff, I now see it as a way tohelp people understand God's
word for them in a more
creative and enticing way. I
do not have regrets joining

Mig Poncos Reflection..
Participating in this organizationwas a great experience for me. Thischallenged me to be more aware ofthe small things that make up the
services. With this, I realize thatwithout the little things no onenotices, many things would not bepossible. Being with this org gaveme a greater sense of responsibility.
I was responsible to click thepowerpoint prepared. Even thoughthis may seem small, without this, the service would have beenunorganized. I hope to be able tolend my hand again to the people in
