HAPPY Thursday! Here are some things you should know

By request attached is the Direct Deposit Form.

Children, Youth & Family Ministry

Children's Ministry join us this Sunday during the 10am worship service for Sunday School. Gather with Melissa this week as we enter into the Advent season... the season of waiting as we anticipate celebration of

the birth of the Christ child is before us!

Youth Ministry meets on Friday evening (December 1) from 7-9pm for a Rube Goldberg inspired night. If you have recycling at home bring it with you: bottles, paper towels rolls, cardboard, egg cartons, string,

plastic containers, etc. All grades 4-12 welcome!

Family Life Ministry - families with children at home (parents/guardians and children; grandparents and grandchildren; aunts/uncles and

nephews/nieces, etc) are invited to gather for ADVENT ANGELS IN PAJAMAS taking place at St. Paul's Cathedral on Saturday, December 2nd at 5pm with dinner being served at 5:30pm. Crafts, stories and

activities for the whole family will follow dinner. You are welcome to invite and bring friends - this gathering is open to all families. Children need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Please RSVP to Melissa Green via email or text (information below). Please include the names of those who will attend and any dietary restrictions. Coming in your

pajamas is welcome! There is still room, but please let Melissa know if you can join us!

Streams in the Desert by Jennifer Ste MarieCreated as part of the 2017 Season of Creation Initiative at St. Paul’s

Cathedral, Kamloops

In this painting, I am attempting to give

image to the ideas in Isaiah 35 and 41, in

which, in addition to various other

promises, God speaks of redeeming

the land . . .

"For waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; the desert shall rejoice and blossom; like the

crocus it shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice with joy and singing. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of

water."

This is happening in multiple locations around the world where people are caring for creation and employing regenerative agriculture

techniques. We just need to open our eyes to see where God is at work.
