Temporada de Cuaresma:

La Cuaresma es la principal estación penitencial en el año

litúrgico de la iglesia que refleja los cuarenta días que Jesús

estuvo en el desierto en ayunas y oraciones en preparación

de la Pascua. Únase con Blessed Sacrament a un servicio

bilingüe en las Estaciones de la Cruz todos los Viernes des-

pués de las misas de 8 am y 7 pm .

Ayuno: La ley del ayuno requiere

un católico de 18 a 59 años reduz-

ca la cantidad de comida que se

consume de la normalidad durante

la temporada. Penitencia: La

iglesia requiere que todos los fie-

les, cada uno a su manera hagan

penitencia los días de Cuaresma todos los Viernes, abstener

de comer carnes es obligatorio para los mayores de 14 añ o.

Excusados son las personas con problemas mentales, los

enfermos, mujeres embarazadas o lactantes.

Retiro Espiritual:

Tendremos un retiro para empezar la temporada de la cua-

resma hoy Domingo 1, de Marzo de 2-6pm en Mechler Hall

Holy Family, con el Diacono Edwin Cruz.

Intenciones Misales Holy Family:

Todavía tenemos misas disponibles para el año 2020. Puede

Steam es un programa de 4 semanas del 29 de Junio al 24

Holy Family desea agradecer a todo los que asistieron, ofre-

Season of Lent:

Lent is the primary penitential season in the Church’s liturgical

year reflecting the forty days Jesus spent in the desert. Please

join Blessed Sacrament during our bilingual service of the sta-

tions of the cross every Friday after the 8am and the 7pm

mass.

Fasting: The law of fasting requires a catholic from 18 to 59

birthday, to reduce the amount of food eaten from normal dur-

ing the season of lent. Penance:

Cannon Law requires all faithful,

each in his or her own way to do

penance, the days during the

lent season are Fridays, to ab-

stain from meat is obligatory for

those from 14 year and above.

Excused are those with unsound

mind, the sick, frail, pregnant or nursing women.

Spiritual Retreat:

Holy Family will have a retreat in preparation for the Lenten

season today Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 2-6pm in Mechler

Hall with Deacon Edwin Cruz, everyone is welcome to join us

Intention Masses Holy Family:

Our mass book for 2020 is open and there are masses still

available, please call rectory or stop by to place your inten-

tions for the sick, birthdays, anniversaries, donation is only

$15.00. To be included in the bulletin, Mass intentions, must

be submitted to the rectory, Wednesday to Friday of every

week.

The Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal 2020:

St. Catherine Academy:

Steam into SCA a 4 week summer program from June 29th to

July 24th, that combines academic course work in Math &

English while exploring the arts and sciences, such as robotics

Octavitas Dance:

We want to thank all those who attended, volunteered and

donated food to our dance on Saturday, February 1st. A good

time was had by everyone and we made a profit of $2,737.00.
