SPRING PHOTO CONTEST Attention shutterbugs and photographers!!!!PHCC will be having a spring photo contest in April to celebrate the arrival of spring after a particularly harsh winter. We have a great church family with many activities happening this month, affording us the opportunity to capture many great and fun photos!! We want your pictures showcasing our wonderful church family!!! So start snapping photos with your cell phones and cameras, and submit your 2 best photos to the office via email to: [email protected] the April 30th deadline. ❖ Please pray for Carolyn Waterman who is in St. Luke’s hospital with health issues.
❖ Prayers are needed for a very close friend of Doug Doll’s family, Mike Miller. He has been diagnosed with Liver and Colon Cancer.
❖ Prayers needed for Barbara Arnold, Jim Sumner’s sister, who has a form of leukemia.
❖ Please pray for Jim & Sharon Sumner’s niece, Kim Miller, who had double lung transplant surgery. Healing prayers needed for recovery and strength.
❖ Continued prayers for Brooke Robinson Morales, daughter of Rob and Nancy Robinson. Brooke is out of hospital and is at home recuperating.
❖ Pray for Lorraine Vandersteen, Denise Waddle’s mom, as she recuperates from her cancer surgery and next steps in her treatment.

PILL BOTTLES The warehouse we used is no longer accepting
plastic pill bottles. The collection bins will be removed from the Churchsince we will no longer be collecting them. Thanks to all who helped!!

Balance and StabilityStretch & Release ClassesThursdays at 10:00amLooking to improve balance, stability and flexibility? Here is your chance! Join us every Thursday morning from 10-11am for a Balance and Stability/Stretch and Release class. This class is designed to improve balance by strengthening the legs, core and upper body and improve joint flexibility and range of motion. All levels are welcome! Classes are free and are available to our congregation and are held in Meade Hall. No need to bring anything.

It’s time to begin planning THIS summer’s Vacation Bible School…ROAR! Life is Wild. God is Good.
VBS is about creating an intentional time and space for kids to hear the gospel, learn Scripture, and tell their friends about Jesus. Do you love making arts and crafts? Singing? Playing games? Are you good at Teaching? Organizing/paperwork? Enjoy assisting teachers? We need YOU for Vacation Bible School July 21-25, 2019 from 5-8pm. We need help in the following areas:
• Registration (3 volunteers)• Opening and closing emcee—singing involved (2 volunteers)• Crew leaders (8 volunteers)• Wild Bible Adventures—Bible story (1-2 volunteers)• Imagination Station —Crafts (2 volunteers)• KidVid Cinema—(1-2 volunteers)• Stampede Sports (2 volunteers)
VBS is for ages 4 years old through 4th grade. Middle School students are welcome to register to be an assistant or assistant crew leader. High School students are welcome to lead anywhere. Calling All YouthNorthland Youth Group will meet on Sunday, April 28th, 2019 from 2-5pm
Instead of meeting at Park Hill CC as normally scheduled, we're joining a regional event for all ages
at Community Christian Church on the Plaza.It is from 2 to 5pm, It's called "Welcoming the
Stranger" and focuses on refugees. There should be foods made by local refugees and some things for sale.

❖ As the youth continue to raise funds for camps this summer, we are in need of some donations to be auctioned off during the month of June. If you, your SS class, or group would like to donate something for a silent auction please see Matt or Robert. We need these items/baskets donated by June 1st to display for the June Sundays.
❖ Camp registration is underway! We are currently fundraising and planning on a group of 9 attending Mission Camp June 10-14 at Lake of the Ozarks and group of 11 students attending Tall Oaks camps.
