The STATIM™ difference.

STATIM™ has and continues to meet EN 13060 requirements. Now you can also provide daily validation of STATIM™’s sterilisation cycle with a spe-cifically designed PCD test device. SciCan engineers have designed a Helix device that makes STATIM™ the only S-class autoclave that can prove its effectiveness by both biological and mechanical means. And with daily validation, you are assured that STATIM™ is up to the challenge of ensuring you, your staff and patients are protected against cross infection from contaminated instruments.

Fast, Compact & Reliable

STATIM™ S-Class is a compact autoclave that is fast enough to provide Sterilisation of instruments between patients. STATIM™ 2000S and STATIM™ 5000S take just a little over 6 and 9 minutes, respectively for a complete sterilisation cycle. Light, thin-walled cassettes promote rapid heating and cooling, further minimising overall processing time.

How STATIM™ S-Class works.

When START is pressed, the steam generator heats to the optimum temperature and a defined volume of distilled water is pumped in and converted to steam. Then, a wall of steam is injected into the pressure chamber and cassette, which is loaded with contaminated instruments. Air is purged as the steam courses through the cassette and is continuously expelled into a condenser flask. After the cycle is completed, depending on the program selected, a small air compressor switches on, drying and cooling the instruments rapidly. The STATIM™ system completely sterilises instruments within international standards. STATIM™ Cassette Autoclaves use clean distilled water with every cycle, preventing the build-up of rust and other contaminants.

Gentle on instruments.

STATIM™ prolongs the life of expensive and delicate instruments such as dental handpieces, Lasik, PRK, endoscopy and cataract instruments, in-cluding Phaco handpieces with gentle sterilisation. STATIM’s steam injector system provides temperature consistency and expels the air that causes oxidation in conventional autoclaves. Rapid heating and cooling dramatically cuts instrument exposure to heat. Also, a built-in air pump flushes the chamber with filtered dry air, further reducing humidity.

Capable of sending emailswith cycle information errors directly to your dealer, yourSTATIM G4 will let qualified technicians know when serviceis imminent.

Protect

Patient safety relies on attention to detail. The STATIM G4supports verifiable processes that are PIN protected withuser-defined IDs so that staff members can be required toauthorize a cycle. This encourages extra attention to processand creates a safer environment for both staff and patients.

Collect

An undocumented sterilisation cycle might as well not havebeen performed. With each cycle, information must be storedto protect your office and your patient. The integratedDataLogger stores all cycle information for the lifetime of theunit, which is accessible through multiple channels such as: aUSB port for manual retrieval; an Ethernet connection for webbased archiving or desktop printing; or a RS232 port for anexternal printer option.
