i have included the bottom arcs as it shows an instance where i com-bined the wrong inputs and outputs. As a result, when lofted the arcs showed a combined arc affect when in reality I intended to create three separate arcs

THE ABOVE IMAGE SHOWS MY EXPERIENCE IN LOFTING CURVES. I EXPLORED HOW BY CHANGING A SIMPLE LINE LOCATION CAN ALTER DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THE SAME CURVE.

PLAYING WITH COMBINING STRAIGHT AND CURVED LINE IN LOFTING. IN DOING THIS I FELT THAT THE CURVE LINES GAVE A MORE INTERESTING EFFECT RATHER THEN THE STRAIGHT LINES WHEN LOFTING

What I found to be interesting was the the more the higher I increased the 3d grid the more interesting the basic cube became. And as a be-gan to remove elements of this cube I found that the piece and a slight resemeblance to Federation square. Which makes me wonder how this piece of architecture was designed.

the above cubes although simple to create were interesting to me as it should how in grasshopper, how the smallest of changes, for example to a slider, can create a drastic influence on the design.

Week 2O F F S E T I N G

IN THIS DEMONSTRATION OF OFFSET-TING, I AIMED TO LOOK AT HOW DIF-FERENT SHAPES CAN BE OFFSET AND THROUGH DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS. FUR-THER MORE, I EXPLORED HOW A SHAPE CAN BE REFLECTED IN VARIOUS AXIS. INTERESTING, THESE SHAPES APPEARED AS IF THEY WERE FLATTENED.

FOR THESE SKETCHES I WAS MOST INTER-ESTED DURING THE FORMATION. WHILST CHANGE THE DIRECTION THE PLANE FROM X AXIS TO THE Y AXIS I FOUND THAT THE SHAPE CREATED A ALMOST SPIRAL EFFECT. THIS EFFECT COULD BE ENHANCED WHEN THE STYLE OF THE LOFT CHANGED FROM ROUND TO A MORE STRUCTURED CURVE.

IN THIS EXAMPLE I AIMED TO SHOW THE CONTOURS WHERE A LAKE OR RIV-ER MY POOL. I CHOOSE TO DO THIS BECAUSE IN THE PAST I HAVE WORK ON ASSIGNMENTS THAT DELT WITH THESE CONDIITIONS AND I WASN’T ABLE TO MODEL THEM ACURATEL

lI FOUND THAT A MORE COMPLEX GEOMETRY GAVE A MORE INTERESTING FIGURE WHEN PLANES WERE REFLECTED ON THE POINTS OF A SURFACE. WITH THIS FORM I MANIPUL-TAED THE FIGURE ALONG BOTH THE X AND Y AXIS. HOWEVER, WHEN THIS SAME GEOMETRY WAS UNABLE TO CREATE THE CONTOURS WITH THE PLANES ACROSS ONE JOINED AXIS. THEREFORE, I HAD TO CREATE A SIMPLER GORM

G R I D S H E L L S E X P L O D E T R E ElIN REFERENCE TO LITS AND GRIDSHELLS, I AIMED TO FIND CON-NECTIONS IN VARIOUS FORMS. INTERESTINGLY USING THESE GRASS-HOPEPR COMPONENTS, A SQUARE GEOMETRY STILL PRODUCED ROUNDED EDGES. WHEN I TRIED TO COMBINED BOTH ROUND AND SQUARE GE-OMETRY THIS CREATE A SPHERE LIKE STRUCTRE WITH SMALL EXTRU-SIONS. THIS MAY HAVE Occurred DUE TO THE POSITION OF THE CURVES
