White Ribbon Day 6
2019 “I Sea, I Care” Ambassadors
Congratulations to Melanie, Isabel, Mason and Malia who have been selected as our “I Sea, I
Care” ambassadors for the 2018 / 2019 school year.
Recently the group participated in their first workshop –a boat trip to Seal Rock.
Respect: For ourselves, our learning, our school and each other.
The water flows.
Seals slowly swim in deep water.
Food is what they need.
Look after them because they’re amaze.
Their home is the water.
By Malia de Thierry
Seal Rock
The sun was shining
There was a ton of seals and pups
They made so much noise
There was a beautiful view
Of the ocean and sea life.
By Isabel Mourkakos
On Tuesday 20th November 2018 the
other ISIC ambassadors and I went to
Seal Rock. We went by a boat called
“Kasey Lee”. We saw penguins and
seals. I really enjoyed it. Did you now
that alpha male seals fight over terri-
tory?
By Melanie Boubis

Learning our Dances for Showtime
For a number of years Maria has worked with our teachers to deliver a whole
school dance incursion. Over the eight week period, Maria works with the
children on the dance element of our curriculum. The incursion culminates in
“Showtime”, an occasion where the children have an opportunity to
showcase what they have learnt.
This year Showtime is being held on Thursday 6 December.
We look forward to seeing you there.
White Ribbon Day
On Friday 23rd November, 2018, Cranbourne Park
Primary School staff and students dressed in

During the day, students made a display that is
now exhibited on the school fence to show our
support for reducing attitudes that support
violence.
