• Already have about 185 members (85% vineyard

participants)

• Large wine companies encouraged contract

growers to get involved

• Several small and medium sized companies also

• Area under vine, excluding headlands (Ha)

• Electricity use (kWh)

• Total water use (ML)

• Total nitrogen applied (kg)

• Total unleaded petrol use (L)

• Total diesel (excluding biodiesel) use (L)

• Total LPG use (L)

Indicators For Wineries

• Tonnes of grapes crushed (T)

• Total winery water use in kilolitres (KL)

• Total wastewater and liquid waste generated in

kilolitres (KL)

• Percentage of solid waste that is recycled
