USAGE1. for plans or decisions made at the time of speaking

(spontaneous)Q: What would you like to eat?A: I'll have a pizza please.

Q: What color shirt do you want?A: I’ll have the red one.

2. to offer/promise to do somethingA: Oh this suitcase is so heavy!B: I’ll carry your suitcase for you. [offer]

FORM1. Statements

Speaking naturally

In conversation, going to is usually reduced. “gonna” sometimes written in song lyrics or online chat or

email but NOT in formal writing
