Matthew 7:28-2928When Jesus had finished saying these things,the crowds were amazed at his teaching,29because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.Matthew 8:26-276He replied,You of little faith,why are you so afraid?Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.27The men were amazed and asked, What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!Matthew 9:3333And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.Matthew 15:30-3130Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.31The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking; the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. Mark 6:1-31Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples.2When the Sabbath came,he began to teach in the synagogue,and many who heard him were amazed.Where did this man get these things? they asked. Whats this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing?3Isnt this the carpenter? Isnt this Marys son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon?Arent his sisters here with us? And they took offense at him.Mark 6:4-64Jesus said to them,A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.5He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands ona few sick people and heal them.6He was amazed at their lack of faith.Matthew 8:5-95When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.6Lord, he said, my servant lies at home paralyzed,suffering terribly.7Jesus said to him,Shall I come and heal him?8The centurion replied, Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.9For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, Go, and he goes; and that one, Come, and he comes. I say to my servant, Do this, and he does it.Matthew 8:1010When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him,Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.Does the level of faith in my life please God?
