BIOGRAPHYBIOGRAPHY
COOPER LAWRENCE is a radio geek who has been in radio for over eleven years, with on-air stints at WLIR/Long Island, and as part of Elvis Duran’s Z Morning Zoo in New York City. She’s also been featured at Metro Traffic, and produced The Joan Rivers Show for the WOR Radio Network. Now, Cooper hosts her own nationally syndicated radio show aptly named The Cooper Lawrence Show from Dial Global.
She is also the author of Been There, Done That, Kept The Jewelry (Adams Media/Polka Dot Press) and All About Guys (Sterling Publications) along with many published articles for magazines. Cooper holds a Masters degree in Developmental Psychology, and is presently completing her Doctorate at Fordham University.
Cooper has been seen on The Today Show, The Insider, CNN’s Showbiz Tonight, The CW11 Morning News, The Big Idea With Donny Deutsch and Fox and Friends. She has also been featured in print for IN STYLE Magazine, The New York Post, The New York Daily News, Star Magazine and will be in a feature article for Cosmopolitan Magazine in March 2007.
Cooper is on the advisory board for CosmoGIRL! Magazine, where she writes a regular column called The Love Doctor and has consulted for actress Mariska Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation.
Cooper has two books set for release in Fall 2007. Confessions of an Overachiever (for Globe Pequot's new imprint Skirt!) and The Fixer Upper Man: How to Turn Mr. Maybe Into Mr. Right (Adams Media/Polka Dot Press)

Smart Talk means controversial news topics like teachers who rate children based on their race, to gay lifestyle bias, and real facts behind compelling stories, although most of the time they’ll just have a good laugh with her at the human condition. THE CASTTHE CAST
Anthony MichaelsExecutive Producer Anthony grew up in St. Joseph MI, (a small town outside of Chicago), moved to Charlotte and graduated from South Mecklenburg High school. Started shortly after high school at WCKZ in Charlotte, and from that point until now, pretty much a radio blur. Most recently Anthony was the Promotion and Marketing Manager for Atlantic Records.
Chad Bowar
Technical Producer
Chad is "The Man In The Corner" and technical producer of the Cooper Lawrence Show, and can be heard weekends on The Link. He also fills in doing the news during Bob & Sheri. Chad has been in radio for over 20 years and has worked at stations all over the country. He's originally from South Dakota, has a degree in political science, and has lived in Charlotte since 2005.
