The project is co- funded by the European Union Instrument for Pre- Accession Assistance PARTNER FB02 – FRIULI INNOVAZIONE PROJECT The pilot project will take the form of a business competition targeted to entrepreneurs and innovative startups of the creative sector. First of all, it will be based on a cross-cutting approach, promoting the merging between the ICT/innovation and the creative sector; secondly, it will experiment new and innovative financing schemes to support creative SMEs; thirdly it will try to organize training courses, seminars and mentoring services according to creative innovation schemes. OUTCOMES 1. Link between the ICT/innovation and the creative sector; 2. New and innovative financing schemes; 3. Training courses, seminars and mentoring services. PARTNER FB04 - SIPRO PROJECT SIPRO is very keen in launching pilot actions strictly related to the activities for innovation listed above and with the aim of developing concrete projects in cooperation with the main decision makers and stakeholders. The SMART INNO project besides offering the opportunity to develop cross border inno-labs, represents the chance to re-organize the framework of local innovation actors – University, Public Authorities, Innovation Centre, enterprises – in a network prospective. OUTCOMES 1. Smart coaching and networking, especially focused on the culture creative enterprises in the Province of Ferrara; 2. Local seminar about innovation with experts and enterprises, to boost the start up of innovative activities/local makers expo; 3. Virtual exposition about the local creative and cultural enterprises; 4. Mapping the offer of high technological equipment available at the University of Ferrara, with the aim to 5. implement a web platform which should match offer and demand. Mini Fab Lab development. PARTNER FBO7 - UZICE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE/ RDA UZICE

PROJECT The project will create a mechanism for knowledge management and innovation in SMEs in

the metal industry (MI – Metal Industries) in Zlatibor District. The aim of the activity is to

strengthen the competitive knowledge and innovation management (manufacturing process

management, implementation of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in

manufacturing and networking with other SMEs and build capacity in research, development

and innovation (RD&I).

PARTNER FB09 - RDA GREEN KARST

PROJECT Centre for Development and Innovation Green Karst (CDIGK) will expand and develop a

culture of innovation and development in both, public and private sectors in region. It will

implement various activities for development- oriented individuals, entrepreneurs, decision-

makers and policy-makers, research and educational organizations and non-governmental

organizations to raise awareness of understanding the innovation and the innovation

ecosystem and to foster innovation activities in the region.

OUTCOMES 1. Strengthening of complex value chains;

2. Fostering innovation related investments;

3. Fostering knowledge transfer;

4. Foster innovation related learning and education;

5. Awareness rising .

PARTNER FB10 - RDCENTER KOPER

PROJECT In order to enhance innovation in the tourism sector, the project will promote the need of

cooperation and networking between all partners (public, private and NGO sector)

active/relevant in the tourism sector on regional level, define and assess the governance

models for such cooperation, build needed awareness between partners and create all

needed conditions and establishment of Destination Management Organization (hereafter

DMO).

PARTNER FB11 - PRIMOSKA TECHNOLOGY PARK

PROJECT In the project we will address specific needs of Slovene existing and potential entrepreneurs

(researchers, innovator, innovative individuals/groups) and startups at all stages of the

entrepreneurial process. Program will source, mentor and support participating ventures,

individuals and entrepreneurship groups to articulate their research results, inventions, ideas,

projects and business as attractive, significantly scale their impact, and build the capacity to

present to inventors.

PARTNER FB12 - LIR EVOLUTION

PROJECT The main goal of the pilot project is to introduce research, education and practical use of

nanomaterials and nanoprocesses as a potential for development and improvement of

activities of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), augment scientific and educational

capacities of new employment for young researchers in local industries – SMEs.

OUTCOMES 1. Establish laboratory for synthesis and characterization of nanomaterial from domestic

raw material;

2. Provide internship and educate young researchers from Bosnian Universities in the

laboratory.

PARTNER FB13 - JURAJ DOBRILA, UNIVERSITY OF PULA

PROJECT The University plans to develop and implement Young Entrepreneurs Lab program. The

program would be certificated and would present contribution to lifelong learning concept;

educate young entrepreneurs on their first steps in the business world. The plan is to give

them support and help them to become more competitive on the market. In addition, the

program would give foundations to financial sustainability.

PARTNER FB14 - IDA

PROJECT We have foreseen that our contribution in equipping the Center for the Advancement of

Science and Innovation for development of Innolabs for the creation of a cross – channel

innovation community would be the best choice.

The purpose of development this type of center is to promote interest in science and to

connect with other centers for developing and promotion of adoption of new technologies,

the development of innovation and professional services, research and development of

creative abilities of young, access to the local community and SMEs.

PARTNER FB15 - ATLANTIS

PROJECT Design and deployment of a virtual Hub in Greece for supporting innovative Startups/SMEs to

cross national borders, internationalize and develop further their businesses, establish

interregional/ international collaboration, make them investor-ready and assist them in fund

raising. Target sectors for supporting innovative SMEs/Startups include: Mobile and mobility,

Creative Industries, Cloud Computing.

PARTNER FB15 bis - ATLANTIS

PROJECT Implementation and deployment of a digital online platform to provide interactive access to a

database with human resource expertise capacities (e.g. candidates with higher education

qualifications and expertise/experience that could be used by SMEs) and SME/Startups job

posts (e.g. job descriptions and required human resource expertise by SMEs). The platform

will constitute an innovative e-Recruitment platform for the Adriatic macro region; and will

obviously contribute to the expected impact of the 3rd

project pillar.

PARTNER FB17 - AULEDA

PROJECT One of the main goals of this proposal would be that of creating a sustainable basis for the

future establishment of research- development and innovation center in Vlora and give to this

region the right place to actual and expected developments at local and regional level. The

main purpose of setting up this center will be to bring together industrial actors, universities

and local authorities in order to:

- Coordination of activities of all actors that operate in the region so that Vlora region

become a significant pole of technology, innovation and scientific research at local

and regional level.

Stimulating the creation of cluster in different industrial sectors, networks, statement of

research-development strategies which aim to promote innovation and maximizing the

potential of the region (economic, academic and manufacturing).

PARTNER ??

PROJECT The aim of TIM is to match the innovation needs of companies with the young professionals.

Its offer implies the following: senior consultants selection; promotion to companies

expressions of interests, host enterprises selection after check-up of ideas: selection of

graduate trainees Junior; 2 interviews at least per company to choose the candidate;

matching company-trainee (goal number of 4); agreement between University of reference

and company; starting of training carried on for 6 months; supervision and monitoring of

project development.

OUTCOMES 1. Employment of qualified graduates vocationally trained in innovation;

2. Local companies steps ahead towards competitiveness and development;

3. Repeatable experience for SMART INNO Partners.

PARTNER LP – RIMINI PROVINCE

PROJECT The tourism innovation square aims to be the place where new ideas and projects are created

and developed in order to turn these brilliant initiatives in concrete competitive business

within the international tourism context. When dealing with innovative of any area involved in

the field of tourism: The “square” will be located inside an historical building in the town

center of Rimini. In the same building will be also located the “idea cube” company. This

company deals with the incubation of startup related to tourism. In addition to the

implementation of the IT system architecture, the action is aimed at experimenting some

practical cases, one of whom could have as topic, for instance, the tourism promotion of the

Marecchia valley, located in the countryside of Rimini. A further output of this action could be

to lay the foundation for developing a promotional on-line system for the Adriatic- Ionic

European Region.

OUTCOMES 1. On line booking system for Rimini and the Adriatic Region;

2. Tourism start up incubator.
