ABOUT USThe QEC was launched in March 2011 to position Queensland as an exploration leader and attract exploration company headquarters and offices to the state.

The QEC has also set itself the task to elevate business and public awareness of Queensland’s untapped mineral and energy potential.

An initiative of the Queensland Resources Council (QRC) – the peak representative body for minerals and energy companies in Queensland – the QEC brings together senior representatives from both established and emerging resources companies, government, investors, universities and service providers to the exploration sector.

WHY PARTNER?The QEC provides an outstanding opportunity for junior explorers, brokers, resources advisers, the Queensland Government and other stakeholders to be at the coal face of promoting exploration within Queensland.
