2- COMPLEXION: is the spots or imperfection on the surface of the pearl, a pearl with a flawless surface is exceptionally rare. Complexion goes from: Clean-Moderately Spotted-lightly Spotted-Heavily Spotted.

3- SHAPE: shape of the pearl does not affect its quality, however, pearls of perfect symmetry such as round and drop shapes are particularly rare and desirable. Shape goes as : Round-Oval-Drop-Button-Baroque-Triangle-Circle.• Note: Keshi Pearl: is a cultured pearl without a solid nucleus. Keshi is a Japanese word that literally means “poppy seed” ie “small pearls”.

1- LUSTRE: refers to the behavior of light interacting with the countless layers of pearl nacre. Luster goes from: Poor-Fair-Good-Very Good- Excellent Nacre: is the pearlescent organic material produced by the oyster that forms the body of the pearl.

5- SIZE: Australian South Sea pearls have very thick pearl nacre and are the largest of all pearls, typically ranging from 8mm to 16mm. larger sizes are occasionally found and

highly valued.

4- COLOUR: South Sea pearls are typically White, Silver, Cream, Gold with a pink overtone.

applying the makeup then wear the pearl and remove it the first thing when you come back home.

• Avoid perfume and chemicals on the pearl.

• You can clean the pearl with special Chamois provided with every sale from Paspaley Boutiques.

• Wrap the pearls in a soft cloth when stored with your jewelry to protect the pearl from scratch.

• Strands will require Re-stringing from time to time – free service from our boutiques- .
