Personal Passion

• Running – I am currently working on training for a ½ marathon• I am really struggling with what my passion truly is

– I am working on becoming refocused in the classroom as a classroom teacher.– I hope this book study helps me become passionate again, as I was reading

and I was just dumb founded as to the fact that over time I have slowly lost my passion.

– I am reading several books this summer, participating in this book study and working on some professional development tailored to areas I would like to see some improvement.

– I have been visiting with staff and fellow teachers at WLC and just working to reconnect this summer with where I want to go with my teaching career.• Books include: Teach like a Pirate, 17 things great teachers do differently• Professional Development: Soil Science grid sampling with local specialist, Classroom

Management with a local college professor and former teacher and administrator. • While at WLC I am visiting with fellow teachers learning how they manage their programs.

– I feel like I am jack of all, master of nothing. I want to be more than good, I want to be great.
